Хорошее приложение, в целом бесплатное, но есть и встроенные покупки. К примеру: кто поставил Лайк и статус отправленных сообщений- платно. Поиск, просмотр анкет, гости, сообщения- бесплатно.

вы конечно извините, но возможность просматривать профили в инкогнито, а также кто меня лайкнул и посещал мою учетную запись - вот эти вот дела не должны стоить четыреста рублей в месяц. приложение завлекает лгбт-френдли концепцией, что для РФ весьма приятно, но когда разрабы пытаются вытрясти денег за вещи, которые по-человечьи должны быть как данность и бесплатно (особенно возможность инкогнито) - это тухло, посоны. uninstall.

I can’t log in with my country phone number and it says it’s invalid. But phone number is correct and I never open an account before. I think it is a technical issue and please fix it.

They started to show you by a dozens of “liked you” encouraging you to subscribe, and then… people from Zimbabwe, Namibia, Philippines, etc. Very nice marketing! A**ho**s

In 2018 OkCupid had a lawsuit for allowing bots on their app to encourage people to register premium. Prove to me the dozens I have aren’t bots. I bet they are, you need to be taken action against, again. Committing fraud on your own customers.

Overall the app is good but the chat section is just a bit wonky with the messages the way they appear. Really could use some fixing.

Can’t see who like me

Made an account and was banned 24 hours later, stupid. Did verification and everything, spent over an hour setting it up to just get banned

They bait you by giving you all these likes. You can’t see them without paying and it’s expensive. $45 for a month, and they don’t even have a per week option. And most of those likes are from another country, and those profiles have to be fake because how do they know English if they’re not American? This app blows! Never again! More like “OKStupid”!

Half the profiles on this app are not from America and they put their location as such. This app is a dumpster fire and next to useless

I’ve been having issues because I had an inactive account that prevented me from opening a new profile. It has been so frustrating that I will not be using this app again.

the only accounts that match you are bots. this place is just a scam now. ever since it became a tinder clone this app became trash.

Can’t use the app! Won’t verify my phone number and won’t let go back or forward to fix or correct anything. Tech support has completely ignored me so this app is totally useless to me.

The app has gotten worse over the years, which has been well documented elsewhere. What I want to call out is that the support staff can only be described as actively hostile. Stay away.

This app/service is manipulative and deceitful. Be warned. My story: I signed up a month ago and didn’t plan to pay for the service. A half-hour after signing up, I had 15 likes, which is completely unheard of for me (I’m a single man, almost 50, living in a smallish city, not terribly attractive and my profile wasn’t even complete). Curiosity got the best of me and I paid for one month of the service to give it a shot and see the likes. Nothing came from any of those connections, most of which were from outside of my home country. More than 50% of them didn’t even respond to an initial message from me. After two weeks and no meaningful connections, I decided I wouldn’t pay for another month. The last half of the month went by, I got no further likes (none — absolutely zero!!) and had no real interest in or from anyone on the app. My subscription expired. Lo and behold, the day after my paid time ran out, literally the day after, I suddenly had 35 likes. I didn’t change anything about my profile and my looks certainly didn’t improve either! So, either the app throttles your profile after you pay (burying you to the point of invisibility), OR (more likely) they are generating fake likes to get people to continue paying. Either way, if you are hoping to find someone and make a connection, especially if you aren’t in a big city, please know that this service is not actively working for you—rather, it is only interested in your money and will do whatever it can to deceive you into paying for a subscription.

Banned my account and wouldn’t tell me why. Wouldn’t review my appeal and never even gave me a warning like they’re supposed to according to their own guidelines. UPDATE customer service trying to save face by replying publicly. Too late I don’t want anything to do with your garbage platform 👆🏼

They will ban you for no reason.. especially if you start getting a lot of matches .. stay away -5 stars

OKCupid used to be pretty good like 8 years ago. Most people in my area use Hinge or Tinder now. Before paying for premium it would show I had about 23 likes within the span of a couple of hours, then I paid premium to see who those people are and they end up being from random countries throughout Africa. Now that I have premium I get no likes lol pretty good scam tactic they use. Please beware.

The app has some good features but they use the foreign algorithm to bait you into sending money for max features. There are a lot of scammers on here as well so be careful who you talk with.

It’s alright

This app absolutely stinks. It is full of fake profiles that aren’t removed and my god, how many times do I have to swipe left on the same profiles? Just admit that you don’t have enough users and let there be days where I have nobody to view. I shouldn’t have to swipe left on the same profiles over and over and over. I mean, even if you made a limit of ten times, with the thought of, “Maybe he’ll change his mind,” I would understand, but there is no reason the same people should show up when I’ve swiped left on them 30 and 40 and 50 times. Also, users should be able to dictate that people from far-off lands can’t swipe right on them. “Hey, look! Look at all these likes you have! You should pay to see who they are!” *pay to see who they are* “Cool. They’re all on the other side of the world.” What an absolutely terrible dating app.

Way too complicated, expensive. Mistakenly clicked on “Cupids Picks” and can’t browse other profiles and now stuck with paying 50 bucks for just a couple of profiles. They are constantly hitting you with upgrade this and that. Could end up costing a fortune.

Rarely shows you people nearby. Been on this app for months and never met someone in person. The grocery store is a better place to find a date.

It doesn’t matter what your settings are , you still get exactly what you don’t want . Or there are no potential matches in the stack . Imagine you are looking for a match that is fit with no kids and who doesn’t smoke cigarettes and lives within 25 miles …. But you are getting overweight matches with husbands and kids who live 50 plus miles away and chain smoke all day long . That’s OkCupid in a nutshell .

This app is full of scammers running the same scams over and over like in all the other apps. Either the poor girl that needs you to send money for uber to meet you or the all of a sudden 22 year old is 16 after you’ve exchanged number and the fake police are calling you telling you need to pay a fine in order to not go to jail. Same scams as every other app and waste of money.

Long time user of the app. Do love its long form profiles. But I feel your recent alignment with the Tinder model is hurting your UX even if I admit it’s easier to swipe than make a first message. I suggest making chatting less sluggish (this has long been an issue) and make it easier to find ideas for and set up dates irl. Tinder’s model works for Tinder. OkC should foreground it’s more conversational approach.

Paid for premium subscription, and an hour later I still don’t have access to any of the premium features. Will be canceling membership and will not returning. I can’t trust you with my money.

I got the app and was banned before even using the app. I just put in my bio and some photos. Really standard stuff, seems like this happens a lot so I’m guessing they just want a bunch of fake profiles to make bots. Guess we are just free labor.

It uses some algorithm to tempt you to buy the premium or other packages, and once you do, the hype isn’t all that great, you won’t get as many likes as you did before buying, and after you unsubscribe. The likes comes back all the sudden!

Too many scammers. Too many people looking for perfect.

I set my preferences to 50 miles and in order to lure me into purchase the subscription it told me there were people that liked me and they weren’t even in my region. They are states away! Misleading! Refund me my subscription!

Won’t let me send intros which makes it 99% less likely to get matches so there’s no point to the app

I’ve been using the app for at least a day now. It started off well, but then it just wouldn’t let me sign in. Been working fine this whole time. There’s some things I think are sus though. Kind of just works when it wants to. Scanner makes me wonder how safe it is since I had to verify myself multiple times. Updates never seem to go through right away. Messaging is definitely delayed. Don’t know if these are tactics to have people pay more, but since I’m a man I get that vibe. Plus, since we’re on the subject I feel like it tried to bait me with questions about LGBTQ+ matters. Basically asking someone who’s straight questions about same sex issues. Didn’t care for them, but would randomly pop up when answering questions. I feel like the apps going to be glitchy now that I’ve established a profile.

Just made an account the night prior and when I opened the app it’s asking me to sign back in. It sends a code to my phone and says the code is invalid and to download the latest version of the app which I already have.

You will be targeted by content moderators if they simply have any delusions about you for being uncomformist in any way. I posted an innocent image of a boss from MegaMan, a video game from the 80's, and now I am flagged for being permanently banned for displaying a slight sense of humor. Seriously ridiculous. No doubt wokeness and communist agenda type-people has crept into this business. They don't really care about your business, they want to censor you

I pay for this service and it’s incredibly frustrating to have this technical issue!!! Do not buy the premium service until they fix this issue!!

I’ve been using OKC for years and love the platform. I think they do a wonderful job of including the vital areas of info that are most helpful to finding a great match. And the database is quite vast for an app that offers truly free services. I highly recommend checking it out! Ctrop
