The mobile app has major issues on wifi.

Get a lot of full screen pop up ads that have no way to close except for closing the whole app! Also get a lot of fake profiles and scam messages lately.

ive been using OkCupid for YEARS. On the plus side Ive gone out on a few dates and met some cool people and have actually gotten laid a few times. on the other side, women RARELY reply to civilized and decent messages. then theres the women who reply to messages and carry on a conversation for a few days and agreed to meet only to flake out at the last minute. Yes, its a free app but dont get your hopes up waiting for a reply. also, they want you to pay for stupid features like seeing who "liked" you and all kinds of other BS. I rated it two stars only because I got laid about 12 times in the past few years. its better than craigslist -but not by much…

A lot of positives! I did not have any bad experiences on here. I did meet interesting men, however. Met my match as well!

I am only being shown matches from. Thousand miles away even though my zip code is correct and "near me" is selected under settings. Alex, the OkCupid rep who was "helping" me fix the problem asked me to uninstall and reinstall TWICE and nothing changed. What good is the app if I cant see matches that require less than 16 hours of driving?

Best app for meeting new people, has a swipe like tinder and the messaging is good too!

Made a profile. Went through their awful interface. Got matches. Cant see. Have to pay.

This is a great app for those that are looking for something much deeper than Tinder can provide.

Pretty decent app. Better than all of the other apps Ive tried. You can really find someone on here at a cheaper value. Id say its worth a try.

Its annoying. I receive notification every 15 minutes with from spam accounts. Their script keeps creating fake profiles and sending the spam. Its really annoying having my phone vibrate at 4 am, 5am and so on. Account deleted and app removed. Feels right. They need to find a way to overcome those automatic scripts.

You cant even see who likes you unless you pay.

Idk what else to say. Im rarely as impressed with free apps like I am with this one. Theres a paid version if you want more features, but the main features work great in the free version if you just want something simple to network with people or find potential dates. I LOVE the matching system that uses questions to judge who you might match best with. Take the time to answer questions every once in awhile and it works better and better. Really good work on this app and service :)

Ive used OKC off and on for years. It was nice to see who looked at your profile, and a few other options now only available with the $version. Otherwise, yeah.... the app works....so maybe its just me... crying lonely salty tears into my cornflakes each morning.

I have tried different apps and honestly this one is no better than Grindr. Its actually the same men - faceless photos and all. Even when you have paid the app is constantly prompting you for money to boost your profile or it puts it at the bottom of the heap. Save your money and go to a dive bar, its the same thing.

Literally as my title says. It works simplistically as it should and happens to be "swell". No gimmicks found here just an easier way to meet new people actually. I wouldnt say its 100% PERFECT due to the random visits that disappear but still good by all means.
