Best dating site ever despite some fake profiles that are a norm on all dating sites

Messaging is slow though

For a dating site, I like it as you can get quite a bit of info about someone via the questions. That said, I still havent met the perfect knight in shining armor for me. Why cant you provide that?? Huh??

Without the visitor page not better than Tinder

I hate they removed the viewing option on app. I like seeing if people view my profile I find it easier to start conversation. Please bring it back!!!!!!

I like that there is more room to describe yourself. Doesnt feel so shallow, I also like that you can talk to someone at anytime. I havent had any issue with bugginess or glitching so far. Met someone on the app and things are going well, we are now planning a date ??.

Okcupid used to tell you who viewed your profile. This was the defining factor that set the app apart from Tinder or POF. The feature is now gone (probably because it encourages users to pay for the A List). Okcupid has lost my support along with its functionality.

Stay away

Youre slowly stripping away more and more features. I understand that youre doing so to coerce people into purchasing information that they would have had access to for free previously. Its just not cool. But money makes people greedy for even more money I suppose.

Love the app. Meet people and do go on dates.

Bring back The Who viewed me option!

This is the best dating app imho. You can chat for free. It has the swipey cards like Tinder. It gives you a percentage score for a person based on how compatible it thinks you two would be (pro-tip: 85+% seems to be the sweet spot). But the reason I decided to stop being lazy and write this review is that even when youre not paying for it it will sometimes notify you when someone likes your profile :O

I have met really nice guys! I love it!

I really like the OKC algorithms and compatibility questionnaires. The messaging functionality is a bit glitchy, though. Often the interface doesnt update to show the new communications that you can see have appeared. I like the community, though, and this site and app have helped me meet some great new friends here.

Okc was my fave dating app for, even used the premium mode once in a while. One of the essential features, people who visited you was removed with the latest update. Since then the app became as mediocre as Tinder. I moved on to Lovoo.

Not using the app anymore until it comes back

Honestly its the best of the dating apps. You have to invest some time in profile creation, but once thats over youll save way more time avoiding bad dates. Trust me.
