OkCupid Dating: Date Singles App Reviews

Completely dislike that this has been disabled. I have been an OkCupid user for years on and off.. this is the first time Ive ever hated a feature that you have changed.

The developer says that the loss of visitor views is a "benefit". From reviews from customers it seems like it is not. In fact, some say it gave them a sense of safety, and I agree. If there was someone I found creepy visiting me often, I had the option to block them. That is no longer the case. Now I feel there is no option but to delete my account and look elsewhere. I wonder how many other women are doing this? Further, it seems like a bid to force ppl to pay for the "A list" so that pp users can see their "likes". ----------------------- Aug 11 2017 review The notification of visits isnt available on the phone app anymore. Seems like its now trying to force people to upgrade once again. Ive been on and off this app for years. With the last update they took away the Who You Visited and Who Visited You tabs. Now this app is so boring and its hard to make matches. Deleted my account. Ill reinstall when they stop messing with the good parts of the app.

The new update is terrible. I dont want invisible browsing. How am I supposed to know who is potentially interested in me?

I found a girl I liked the very first day I signed up and within a few weeks we were able to really get to know one another!! Shes so awesome!!

Removing "who viewed you", and "who you viewed" was a terrible idea.

I just restarted using this app Monday,and Ive had three conversations so far, as well as one meeting, and, another planned soon. I like the app so far, with one exception...for some reason, guys will randomly show up in my search window, even though my profile lists me as a straight man. I think we need a little help with this, and soon. Other then that,keep up the good work.

Love the app. No glitches. Smooth and easy to use the app. I would like to add more photos but theres a limit. Bring back the CBD too!!!

The app is super easy to navigate/use! My only problem with it is that I would like to be able to add one or two more pictures!

This app deserves 1 star for removing the "visited you" feature. Really short sided move that looks like it will sink this app.

Wow. I cant believe they got rid of the ability to see who viewed your profile and the ability to see whose profiles you viewed. This really stinks. :(

I like how you can get your messages from the other person without having to pay a ton, or even anything just to talk back and forth to the men.. (some are still little boys), but Id use ok Cupid over any other dating website and like it more than any other website Ive used in the past! Thanks Ok Cupid for making this a great experience!!

They have removed "visited you" & "you visited" from the app. Ive become less satisfied with OKC, and as someone who is usually recommending this service, its a big disappointment. After a series of bad updates, and now the removal of visitors, I refuse to continue to use this site. *Developer Response* I wasnt an invisible browser. Nor did I have a-list. I didnt even mention A-list in my review. You are stripping away default components of your site, and failing to replace them with equal or better features. IIRC invisible browsing was always a free feature, but if you had it enabled you couldnt see who visited you. I thought that was a great compromise.

It once was a pretty cool app. Now they deactivated the "visitors" option, the quickmatch suggests people from anywhere in the world and also the option "whos new" is deactivated. Very sad.

Thank you for removing some of the only interesting features in your app, "who had viewed me" and "who I have viewed". These terrible changes started when you removed the filter to view NEW profiles in search. That cut down search time a lot. In my headline I said thank you for the help because it made it even easier to delete my profile. Read these reviews! Not one positive...does that register? Dont send me back your cut & paste response. Yes, I think the app is a waste now.

Do you realize that by removing the ability to see whos viewed you, you are basically eliminating the desire to use the app anymore. For me I would go on to see who viewed me, and if I liked any of them I could either view them, like them, or send a message. Now, without knowing who is viewing me, I have no reason for using the app. Youll lose a ton of people this way.
