Getting rid of the ability to see whos visited you and who youve visited was the worst possible move by OKCupid.

Double messages and big delays.

Im sure if I get a response at all it will just be a copy and paste of your bs response to everyone else linking to your marketing crafted explanation about why removing visitors was in our best interest and that likes is actually a better feature. Huh likes is a paid feature. How convenient. Stop sending me push notifications for likes. I cant see them! And Im not paying for a-list. The number of users that I could even match with in my area is pathetic compared to other sites.

"Do you own a gun?" Ill answer it here: NOOOOO!!!! Now please stop asking me this every other few swipes. Also, I only want to find matches 10 miles from me, not within a 25 mile radius.

I keep getting messages saying my IP address is blocked. I return to the previous screen, click the same button and I get the same message. Try it one more time and I get a pop up ad. Delete it and get through. Now Im getting a message saying my account is suspended due to terms violations. But I can use the app on an iPhone 4s with no problem. IDK what the problem is but I had a great chat interrupted. I certainly wont upgrade. I had a hard time contacting them. IDK if they will contact me. Hope they read this review. The app was working great before on my 6+.

Living in a place like NYC, LA, or Austin is thrilling, but it can be hard to meet people romantically unless you have a large network. OkCupid really does a great job at helping you find people in your area that are looking for the same thing. I have found multiple dates, girlfriends, and friends through the app and site.

I liked when others viewed my profile so I could go see theirs as well. Now its kinda boring cause I get so many likes and cant see that either. : (

I enjoyed using OKC until this update. The "who viewed you" feature was one of the better parts, because I could see which matches actually took a second to look at my profile. Incognito mode helped when I didnt want to be seen, even if it deleted the history of who I had viewed. Overall, the new update has taken okc from a five star app, to roughly a two star. Very displeased. Its practically tinder now.

So Ive been using OkCupid on and off for years; Ive seen it go through its ups and downs. However with the recent removal of the views, I have to say that this app has become junk. To top it off they put a notification that someone recently viewed me...however I cant see who it was so it makes that notification pointless. If they dont bring views back soon, I dont see myself keeping this app. Ill probably uninstall OKC and install POF since I can still see who viewed me on that site.

hey guys. i hope you are good. i wrote a nice feedback in the app and then while writing a message came in and switched automatically to that. what a crap. all away. ... maybe you should stop trying to fricklefuckimprove everything what aint to be improved but worsen it instead, or come up with stupid ideas like this photo-bubble - as if we were stupid to articulate a sentence like "hey, in pic 6, bla...!?" and fix stuff like this auto-switch or upgrade the chat in its possibilities and functions. and you guys were out of mind deleting us the two visits sections in the app ?! that is essential ! some people do not tinder because they find the card deck like "left train, right train", if you understand what i mean. kinda discrimination ! get your ethics. or are you guys getting greedy? i wont pay IN CASH/DOUBLE for the app, you have all my intimate data. so i do pay! do your advertising, i am fine with that. get paid. for good work. efforts. but stop s/zuckerberging around unnecessarily pleeeeaaase! and give me my visits back. honestly! best, k.

Was a nice feature which made it better than tinder.

Ive been using OkCupid since it was just a quiz site back in 2006. It used to be fun and charming, oh how the mighty have fallen. It has gotten progressively worse with porn bots and other things for several years, and on top of it, they keep removing useful features as ploys to get people to pay. The latest, is removing he ability to see who visits you. Something pof did years ago and re-implemented within a week because of the user drop off and negative feedback. Seriously considering deleting and never using again. Put visitors back now. Also, allow us to search interests again and add back in the search features that were removed. This app is garbage now.

This application is a scam...! First you dont have control over your data and they refuse to delete your information (ILLEGAL) if you ask to do so! Second the customer service is really poor and not polite at all. The app is full on bugs: messages are not received or sent, they bans without informing and without any reason, fake profiles, scammers, notification delays and so on. It is really a scam!!! BE CAREFULL THEY KEEP YOUR INFO FOR EVER THIS IS ILLEGAL they wrote me: When an OkCupid account is deleted or blacklisted, all account information and related photos are removed from our public links, but we cannot completely delete information, including photos, from our server; for legal reasons, we need to maintain profile records. THIS IS REALLY A SCAM!

The recent changes made to this app have pretty much ruined it. Not being able to see who visited you is the dumbest decision OK Cupid has ever made.

So Ive been banned / suspended twice now. And when I try to reach out for an explanation I literally get nothing. And Im so fed up. I raved about this app/site for YEARS to everyone. It was my favourite free dating app ever. But its gone to crap. Please fix this issue because its really annoying to "violate terms and service" when you have absolutely no idea what you did wrong.

Other than a few fake profiles (usually obvious) there is definitely a wide variety of people here to meet.
