And when you focus on those people, you increase your chances of higher quality connections" Or, as it should say were taking away key features that obviously our users want, but this is a money grab to get people to pay for our app. The newest update did absolutely nothing but take things away and clear previous negative reviews.

one thing that separates okcupid from the rest is being able to see who views you. now they took it away. i would recommend okcupid to SO many people all the time, especially in the LGBTQ community. never again now.

I used to like this app but now is totally useless! I cant see who view my page and I cant be viewed anymore! What a piece of sh!t! And dont answer saying "the anonymous mode is now free" because i didnt ask for it! And what about that huge ads popping up in my face?! Come on, ok cupid! Goodbye!

Taking away whos viewed your profile and who youve viewed makes the app worthless.

I counted on this app to know who visited me and who kept bugging me. The ones redeeming thing about this site was the fact that you could see visitors, now what makes it better or safer than any other ones? I liked knowing who could see me and seeing who visited me... Feeling a whole lot less safe now

As much reviews in 48h is impossible. Most doesnt make any sense either.

Better if you live outside Toronto

Visitors is more than half the fun of dating sites. Not knowing whos checking you out or whos interested renders the app extremely dull. I dont know what moron decided to go ahead with this decision.

It would be much better to meet someone in person. The time and effort it takes to get someone whos worse than you could get in person makes this app a waste of time. Most women on there are just looking to use you or get a quick confidence boost. It would be more fulfilling, and probably cheaper considering the cost of dates, to go hire a prostitute in a jurisdiction where prostitution is legal. Get a high class one though so you dont walk away with STDs.

This is an interesting way to reach out to people. Its free which is sweet. Its got a different style of "matching" system, which is refreshing. And its not drowning in bits and people asking you to sign up for sites! Long term, short term or good friends this is a great app!

People do not want invisible browsing for free, we want Visitors back. Stop putting everything behind a paywall. Its greedy and not the way to earn money

Used the site years ago when you could actually filter out people you would never date, but OkCupid now seems fit to show them on your main feed and more. That and other changes just smell of agenda pushing bs. Avoid OkCupid, period.

This app has THE worst, most aggressive ads out of all the apps Ive tried (about 5). I dont want to involuntarily be sucked into a full screen game for 10 seconds with no option to immediately exit whatsoever. It reminds me of those old malware websites that would start immediately installing "PC Cleaning software" as soon as you got on the site. Show me ads, I get it. Dont effectively slap an ad over my entire face like a wet towel with no escape and expect me to be happy about it

OKC was at one time an excellent dating app. Loaded with useful features, you could freely see and be seen, sort users via a variety of methods, be anonymous or out in the open. However removing the ability to see who viewed you defies logic: the response that "Viewing anonymously is now free," is the equivalent of peeing on the user and telling them that its raining. Why not keep both options without sacrificing the other ? And not being able to sort users by newest user any longer is yet another casualty of option. OKC ... online dating isnt dying, its stronger than ever. Dont limit, EXPAND ... no reason to lose out to Tinder and other apps.

This is terrible. Dont just take who viewed me away. And NO! It has nothing to do with A List. Just bring it back now.

Ive enjoyed OkCupid on and off for a few years now. Ive met quite a few amazing people on their site/app. Until recently, I felt they were the only dating app worth using. With the removal of the ability to view visitors OR search for a visitor by name, theyve pretty much removed the final feature that kept them above the rest. Im not fooled by the "were doing you all a favor" excuse theyre trying to use to force us to accept the changes. Its purely a marketing ploy to get more free users to pay for their once user-friendly app. I dealt with the previous removal of the "new users" tab, but this is a bit much. Stop punishing the dedicated free subscribers. Money isnt everything.

Better than all the rest.

This app has been going downhill since they removed the "whos new" feature and now the "visited me" feature, both of which were valuable to me as a user. Might as well be another Tinder. Updated to add: Looks like they just injected a bunch of fake positive reviews. Average jumped from 1.5 stars to 4. Weak.
