OkCupid Dating: Date Singles App Reviews

Ive had this app for quite a few years. From the premium features, to the "premium premium" features, to removing features and not lowering the price. Recently, they removed "whos new" and now, visitors. Makes no sense to me. Invisible browsing and only appearing to select people so they knew I was interested in them, was a feature I paid for, so naturally, I would expect the price for A list to go down. Support was very rude and said they were not lowering the price. Did you know that, depending on your age, they also increase the price for A list? They do. Change your age to 18 and view the price for A list and then set it to your real age. Ever since OKC was bought, its clear they dont care about the users and just the $$$. Would not recommend. Sent an email to Support to request a refund, as this app isnt any better than others. If they keep this up, the app will be dead by this time next year.

Use to be able to see who viewed your profile before the last update, now you cant. Deleting the app. Worthless

So you cant even see who views your profile anyone? Or see the profiles you viewed before!!?!?...this app just like POF they are just getting so bad!! Why are they willingly ruining this app? To see how far they can push it before nobody is on there? Go bring everything back? Probably...dont waste your time on this even for a moment

With every update they take away features. Like, they just got rid of profile views, etc.

Having lost this basic feature of views and giving us an unwanted feature is a ridiculous excuse to be telling your users, not to mention it makes your product less competitive with your competition. If you wanted to give us a premium feature you would have simply unlocked the premium function to toggle invisible viewing on and off and offering both options. Seriously, this is a very disappointing change to your product that is pushing us to use other sites that offer both. Please meet both sides of the fences needs on Views.

This app runs smoothly and is easy to use. The only thing I wish it had was the capability to upload photos to the messages. Otherwise its great and has lots of details unlike other apps.

Update to the review below… Fewer and fewer people seem to be members. Im guessing that match.com bought this site to put it out of business. The site is good, although still a bit clunky and parts. Unless people are oblivious to it, I dont think it will do well for them to dilute the value of free profiles by adding premium services that actually degrade the value of free profiles. But theyre part of match.com, and they are the money grubbers extraordinaire. Its kind of like asking a scorpion not to sting.

Theres a few bugs? One of the more noticeable ones is that you can no longer see who has visited you? That and my sent messages tab has disappeared. Am I the only one with these issues?

No good. No useful features available. I would give it zero stars if I could. Disappointed in the developers for ruining a once decent dating app.

Why take away the activity feed? I loved that feature. One of the main things that you never seem to fix is the block feature. When I block someone I dont want them looking at my profile whatsoever. If they bookmarked it should go away and everything. I want messages deleted too. This is a very big safety issue and its 2017 and I still dont know why you all cant fix it or dont want to. If you all brought back the old layout and fixed the blocking this app would be 4 stars. You all just keep going down. Those 5star reviews are from the OkC staff, Im convinced. *UPDATE- now you all took away the visiting feature. It went from bad to worse. Disable or delete your accounts people and go somewhere else. Even if you dont upgrade the app they upgrade it for you and I cant stand that. Its like they want you to pay for everything. Id try POF, Tinder, or Bumble..

Now that the option to view visitors is gone its pretty much a limited glorified version of tinder. Also annoyed that their response to the backlash is a prepared blurb saying invisible browsing is now free. They dont even care enough to own it. Fail.

Come on guys, removing the ability to see whose viewed your profile and spinning that as the ability to browse invisibly for free? In a month or two I bet you come back with a new paid feature called "Viewed me". I dont know your motives, but user experience is not even on your list. One star until you stop de-featuring the app.

Pretty reliable for getting laid in LA at least.

Gets worse and worse with every update. Always "fixing" things that arent broken and not fixing the things that need it. Continually restricting the things you can do/user features. Less and less matches with each update. Flooding with fake profiles. Full of profiles with no real content. DO NOT waste your time curating what you think is a quality profile because it will be a complete waste of time. Will eventually delete!

Been a user on this app since the beginning. Was always top notch above the rest. I even have the Crazy Blind date app a go. But recently with not being able to see whos viewed me or vise Versa, its like all the rest. Not worth my time. Since invisible viewing is a free feature. Make it optional. Dont force it on me.

Please bring back "visitors". It helps to see who has viewed my profile. I am very disappointed now.
